Summer Learning Program @ the Library
Cambria County Library invites you and your family to participate in our 2017 Summer Learning Program: Build a Better World. All programs and offerings are FREE and designed to encourage reading and learning achievement among children of all ages and abilities.
Attend our Summer Learning Kick-Off Party on Tuesday, June 13th anytime between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon to register for the program and to pick up your complimentary Summer Learning "swag bag" containing your print reading and activity logs. You can also register online starting June 13th by going to slp.cclsys.org, then stop by the Children's Department anytime afterwards to pick up your bag. After signing up, start tracking your progress and come back to the library for programs, prizes, and our End of Summer Learning Celebration on Tuesday, July 25th from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. (drop in anytime!)
Use your imagination and STEM skills using different materials and building components to create a new structure each week!
No pre-registration is required for this program. Recommended for children ages 6-12 years old.

FREE Hot Lunches @ the Library
Mondays - Thursdays
June 19th through August 10th
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
All children under 18 years old are invited for FREE hot lunch in the Children's Storytime Theater. No pre-registration required.

Enjoy family-friendly films on the big screen

Stuffed Animal Campout
Monday, June 12th from 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Recommended for ages 0-5 years old
Bring a stuffed animal with you to enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and fun with Ms. Leah on Monday evening, then come back on Tuesday to learn about your stuffed animal's sleepover adventures!

Kids' Bookbinding Workshop
Friday, June 16th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Recommended for ages 8-12 years old
Learn to make a notebook! Children will learn to make their own soft-cover notebook using paper, plastic needle, and thread. All materials will be provided, including supplies to decorate the notebook. Limit 12 participants. Pre-registration is required.

Tales with Tails
Monday, June 19th and Monday, July 17th
from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sign up for a 15 minute slot to practice your reading with a friendly AKC Canine Good Citizen certified dog, or just stop by to say hi! Recommended for children ages 5 and up. Pre-register in the Children's Department or by calling (814) 536-5131 ext. 205.

Family Pajama Storytime

Bring the whole family for stories, songs, rhymes, and play in your coziest, most comfortable pajamas.
