A Look Back at April's Events

WOMEN IN BUSINESS COUNCIL
at AccuVISION
Our Women in Business Council luncheons aren't only a great event to network at, but we always learn something new.  Lots of Q&A throughout the tour of AccuVISION's stunning facility.
WIBC meets the second Wednesday of every month and is hosted by it's members.
May 10th's WIBC is hosted by Wicked Paintbrush

INDUSTRIAL PLANT TOUR
at HM Manufacturing
The Industrial Plant Tours are consistently eye opening to the incredible variety of commerce in our area.  Our gracious hosts Nicole & Ken toured this local plant that specializes in power transmission components.  Nicole is also on the Board of TMA Education Foundation which supports technical educational programs.  Great company, welcoming staff!

RIBBON CUTTING
at Pipkin Allstate Insurance
Although it was raining outside, the stunning office space of Pipkin Insurance brightened our day.  If you look closely, there was even an Allstate ribbon to be cut!  Congratulations to Patricia and her staff and thanks for the great homemade lunch spread.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
at Threads
We missed out on a group picture but what a great evening.  Our host Linda Starkey and staff shared space with their neighbor Fusion Church for a grand display of food from the Green Goat.  Networking while shopping was a huge hit!

MARCH'S BIO BOWL WINNER
KREBS CUSTOM, INC.
1000 RAND ROAD  UNIT 106
WAUCONDA, IL  60084
After graduating from the gunsmithing program at Lassen College in northern California, Marc Krebs moved to Glenview, IL and shortly thereafter, set up his own gunsmithing business.

After several years of "general gunsmithing", Marc shifted his focus to the building of highly customized 1911-pattern handguns for specialized pistol competition events.  It was in this arena that Marc established his international reputation for innovative, top-quality products and service.

A number of years later Marc Krebs again changed direction to concentrate on Kalashnikov-pattern rifles and accessories for such rifles.  Moving his shop to Wauconda in 2000, Krebs Custom has maintained its reputation for high-quality products and serve, and for innovations (some of which are used by US military and Law Enforcement personnel) that bring the AK rifle design in the 21st Century.
