Announcing our new Executive Director:  Stacey Gallagher Tully

Healthy Waltham announces today that Stacey Gallagher Tully has been appointed as its new Executive Director.  Mrs. Tully joins Healthy Waltham with a wealth of experience in the fields of health, human resources and sales/ administration. For nearly 40 years, she has been a dance and fitness instructor for students from ages 3 - 96 at the Waltham YMCA, Senior Citizen Center and numerous corporate gyms. Mrs. Tully, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Boston College, has worked all over the world. She states, "I am interested in doing more for the people in our community and would love and enjoy doing that with a focus on health and wellness."
 
Healthy Waltham Board Member Kaytie Dowcett expressed her excitement about the new hire: "We have been so impressed with Stacey's enthusiasm, energy, and creative ideas for expanding Healthy Waltham's reach in the community. We look forward to supporting her as she shepherds us into our next phase as an organization."
 
We would also like to thank Pam Hess for staying on during this transition as she balances her new role as Executive Director of Land's Sake Farm in Weston.
 
Mrs. Tully joins Healthy Waltham staff members Maria DiMaggio, Communications & Development Director and Reva Haselkorn, Program Coordinator & Chef Instructor in working toward Healthy Waltham's mission: to promote healthy lifestyles and well-being for families and underserved populations in Waltham through educational and collaborative programs that engage residents in healthy cooking and gardening, physical activity and involvement in natural open space within the community.
