Is the United States Headed for a New Cold War With Russia?
Monday, May 1, from 7 - 8:00 p.m.

Both Presidents Bush and Obama attempted to improve or "reset" relations with Russia.  Both failed and over the sixteen year period of their presidencies, relations deteriorated between the two countries.  While early in the administration of President Donald Trump, America's relationship with Russia seems headed for change. But what kind of change and how will future ties impact NATO, the security of the Baltic region, our relations with China, and developments in the Middle East? Will relations between the U.S. and Russia continue to deteriorate or will they improve? Are we headed for a new Cold War? Dr. Douglas Simon is emeritus professor of political science at Drew University.
