The City of Fort Wayne's Weed Program is now underway. Neighborhood Code Compliance is responsible for enforcing the City's Weed Program, which calls for weeds or grass to be no taller than nine inches.

Mayor Tom Henry recently announced that nine local organizations are receiving 2017 Commercial Façade Grants to improve their properties. This year's recipients include Zeigler's Window Coverings, Legacy Heating & Air Conditioning, 07 Pub, Shine and Hardin LLP, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, Headwaters Counseling, Tom Steele Tires, Punch Films and Yellow Retirement Communities (rendering pictured right).

Fort Wayne Bike Share's annual membership fees have been reduced to just $30, half of last year's rate. For a limited time, residents can get an additional $5 off by using the code Gobike365. The City partners with Zagster to operate the Bike Share program, which includes 30 bikes available at five downtown locations and Indiana Tech for riders to check-out for on-demand, local trips.

Join fellow bicycle commuters at Headwaters West for free coffee, bagels, other treats! The annual Bike to Work Day Breakfast is hosted by the City of Fort Wayne at Headwaters Park West, Friday, May 19, from 6:30 to 8 a.m. It is one of dozens of great Kickstart events scheduled throughout May.
