Lincoln Park Uncorked Sells Out
Thanks to everyone who helped to make  Lincoln Park Uncorked: An Armitage-Halsted Wine Stroll  on Thursday, May 11 a success! It was great to see so many new and familiar faces in the neighborhood. Special thanks to our sponsors -  ELEVATE Lincoln Park Apartments Vin Chicago and  Minuteman Press Chicago  - and to all of the great businesses that were part of the wine stroll including Bridgeview Bank for offering their space as guest check-in.  Stay tuned for photos from the event!
LPCC Partners with Chicago Magazine on Make It Lincoln Park Guide
LPCC is thrilled to once again partner with Chicago Magazine on Make It Lincoln Park. Reach Chicago Magazine's affluent and active readership in this special advertising feature promoting the top places to eat, shop, and have fun in Lincoln Park. This neighborhood guide will run as an insert in the September 2017 issue. An additional 10,000 copies will be distributed through the LPCC's partners like Choose Chicago, hotels, cultural institutions, residential high rises, and other tourist destinations. Ad Space closes on July 17.

Construction Begins on Bike Path
Construction to create separate paths for cyclists and joggers will close the Lakefront Trail east of Lake Shore Drive between Diversey Parkway and North Avenue beginning May 22.  A marked detour will take trail users west of Lake Shore Drive. Construction is expected to be completed this summer. 

Chicago Plan Commission Meeting - Thursday, May 18
The Chicago Plan Commission will meet on Thursday, May 18  at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall (121 N LaSalle St, 2nd Floor) as it considers the Final Framework Plan for the North Branch Industrial Corridor. This is a public meeting. Businesses and residents are encouraged to attend.

Lurie Children's Hospital Receives $3.5M Donation from Anthony Rizzo
The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation announced a $3.5 million commitment to create two endowed funds at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago - funds that will profoundly touch the lives of numerous patients treated for cancer and their families. With this commitment, the Foundation will have donated more than $4 million to the hospital.

In recognition of the Rizzo family's generosity, the 18th floor waiting room has been named the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation Waiting Room. The spacious room is a regular stop for Anthony during his frequent, unannounced visits to Lurie Children's, where he inspires patients battling cancer with his motto, "Stay Strong, Dream Big."
