"No-Nonsense" Leadership Development BootCamp Workshop - 8 Hours

Target Audience:  Open to all Public Safety Employees - Sworn and Civilian

CURRICULUM:      This highly engaging and fast-moving, customized 8-hour leadership boot camp session, will give each attendee the practical skills and strategies to take the necessary steps towards becoming an effective leader. The time spent will be focused on learning high-level leadership principles, and providing no-nonsense wisdom, and strategies that will provide the “how tos” of being an effective leader in tough work environments.   

During this express 8-hour session we will:

• Define leadership and examine truths and wisdom that accompany effective leadership.
• Discover 5 types of leaders and the power of the informal leader.
• Learn the 5 stages of leadership development that makes a well-rounded leader.
• Distinguish between the focuses of management vs leadership.
• Identify leadership pitfalls to be avoided.
• Understand Character vs Reputation in Leadership.
• Review each participant’s leadership behavior style strengths and possible limitations.

ATTIRE:  Business professional or business casual. No shorts or t-shirts.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:  Anyone presently in a leadership position, those newly promoted to leadership, or those that are simply interested in understanding what it takes to be an effective leader in today’s changing work environment.

REQUIREMENT:      Student must complete an online online assessment prior to the class.  The assessment link to complete will be sent via email approximately 10 days before the class after payment has been received and enrollment has been confirmed.

COST:  $299.00 per student.  

INSTRUCTOR:  Lisa Gilbert, BS, CPBA, CPMA, CPTA, CPDA and CEO of No-Nonsense Training Solutions, Inc. is a graduate of the Florida State University with a B.S. in Psychology.  She holds certifications as a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst, Certified Anger Management Specialist and is an Adjunct Professor with Broward College IPS.  She is a nationally sought-after consultant and leadership and professional development facilitator that has successfully trained and coached hundreds of Corporate, Non-Profit, Government staff and leaders as well as Law Enforcement personnel, sworn and civilian staff and command staff personnel for over 15 years.

Cancellation Policy:  Class registrations are not confirmed until payment is received in full. Deadline to cancel and receive a refund for this class is May 9, 2018.   If enrollee cancels less than 14 days before the training date, they will be rescheduled to the next available training for this class or date of their choosing.   Student substitutions with out additional fee are accepted for last minute changes as long as the original student has not completed the assessment.
