Improving User Behavior and Achieving Better Outcomes for Apps and Smart Technology
Digital Rochester hosts Dr. Scott Snyder for "Utilizing Digital to Hyperpersonalize Your Customer's Experience"
Rochester, NYOn Friday, January 19th at 8:00 a.m., Digital Rochester's Digital Marketing Special Interest Group (SIG) will host "Utilizing Digital to Hyperpersonalize Your Customer's Experience" at the Rochester Museum & Science Center. App Developers, Digital Marketers, UX professionals, Market Research professionals and Designers are encouraged to attend this event featuring Dr. Scott Snyder, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer of Safeguard Scientifics. Dr. Snyder will address the shift towards hyperpersonalized user experiences driven by data versus designing for traditional user segments.

The explosion of digital touchpoints, such as mobile, wearables, and Internet of Things, combined with predictive analytics has allowed innovative, hyperpersonalized digital experiences on an app or smart technology. Understanding the user's context - beyond solely location and time - and their behaviors, enables intelligent interactions with the highest likelihood of generating a desired behavior or outcome.

These interactions can take on many different forms, such as:
  • Reminders
  • Personalized Messages
  • Economic Incentives
  • Behavioral Economics
  • Education and Motivation
  • Dashboards and Self-Management
  • Dialog with Clinician
  • Peer Monitoring
  • Social Monitoring/Feedback
  • Gamification
  • User Generated Content
Dr. Scott Snyder will also share examples of where current apps are falling short and provide examples for healthcare and retail to illustrate how intelligent interactions work for different types of users.

Networking and coffee will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the presentation at 8:00 a.m. and a brief question and answer session.

Tickets are $30 for non-members, $25 for members, and $10 for students. To register for the event, go to https://digitalrochester.com/event-calendar/#!event/2018/1/19/utilizing-digital-to-hyperpersonalize-your-customer-apos-s-experience
