Who doesn't love going on a scavenger hunt?  This scavenger hunt runs from May 10 through to June 2.  All you have to do to participate is to follow these directions.

1.  Buy a copy of "Pinwheels and Pearls."  One dollar from the sale of every $12 book bought on Amazon or at Relay For Life of Sevier County events is donated to Relay For Life.

2.  Have each of the 15 participating businesses and have your "Pinwheels and Pearls" book stamped or stickered.

3.  Bring your book to the Kids' Zone Tent at the Relay For Life event on June 2 at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge.  Each stamp or sticker will be exchanged for a ticket for a chance to win a prize.  One stamp or sticker equals 1 ticket.  Ten stamps or stickers equals10 tickets.  All 15 stamps and stickers equals 15 tickets plus a bonus 2 tickets!

Be sure to check the Pinwheels and Pearls Scavenger Hunt Event page for daily updates.  Every day Missy posts a new picture with another stamp or sticker in her "Pinwheels and Pearls" book along with some important information about the participating business.

On Wednesday, May 17th we're having a Pinwheels and Pearls Book Reading and Signing event starting at 3:00 PM.  If you don't have your "Pinwheels and Pearls" book yet, you can buy one from the author of the Missy Barrett books and get a list of all 15 businesses that are part of the Scavenger Hunt.

There's even going to be door prizes so be sure to show up at Emery's 5 & 10 General Store at The Island In Pigeon Forge on Wednesday.  You'll be glad you did, and afterwards you can start collecting stamps and stickers from the participating businesses that are located at The Island..

This event, hosted by the King Family Library, is bound to be bunches of fun with a reception to follow the book reading.
