Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County's Monthly Newsletter!
For Sherlle, " home is peace, quiet, calm, home is beautiful." S ince joining the Habitat program in August 2016, Sherlle and Imani have moved 4 times Her new home will provide a safe and settled environment for her 3 year old daughter. Sherlle learned about the Habitat home ownership program from her Aunt who has been a Habitat home owner for almost 30 years.

The journey through the home ownership program has provided Sherlle financial education and the opportunity to pass on a home to her daughter. While building with Habitat, Sherlle has made friends who she has come to consider family. Sherlle and her daughter enjoying sitting in the sun, coloring and laughing over bowl of "rac-a-roni" (macaroni).

Please join us in welcoming this wonderful family to their new home which we know will be beginning of a beautiful future.

"It was once a DREAM and now I am day's away from living in a home I BUILT."

Message from George Druyos
Executive Director

Our affiliate has been truly blessed this year with the proposed completion of 3 homes. It is a milestone that we are extremely grateful to be able to achieve. The greatest benefit from this will be the additional families we are able to serve in Berkeley County. Thank you to Publix Supermarket Charities for making our 3rd house for the year a reality. Congratulations Sherlle for on your closing this month!!!
