12-week physical activity competition starts 1/22

Are you ready for a fun, informative and motivational fitness competition? Try Keep America Active! This program, from the folks who brought us HealthTrails, allows individuals or teams of 4-6 to log exercise online or with their wearable devices. See the USA as you virtually travel from one historic site to the next town attraction.Great prizes for top teams and individuals who complete the program.

Team Up to Improve Health
New Healthy Lifestyle Boot Camp offering

This month we are offering a new program from our partners at UH's Connor Integrative Health Network, a Healthy Lifestyle Boot Camp. In this Community Wellness initiative, participants will support each other in creating long lasting healthy habit change.
Thursdays from 12:30-1:30 PM , Jan 18 to March 15th

Eat More Plants, Improve Health
Plant-based Nutrition class kicks off next week

More and more people are turning to a plant based diet to improve health. The Wellness Program invites you to learn more and maybe even try the diet for yourself at this 8-week nutrition program.

Books@Work is back this month

This Community Wellness, 12-week program brings professor-led literature seminars to CWRU faculty and staff to build confidence, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. Learn more about Books@Work.

Tobacco Cessation Class On-site
Open to faculty, staff and students - Tuesdays starting January 16

Take advantage of this in-person 8-week class to help end your addiction to tobacco. Classes run every Tuesday at 12:30 PM in Crawford Hall Room 720 though March 2.

Take a Break and Meditate
8-week Meditation series begins January 17

Learn to better cope with stress by engaging in weekly meditation on Wednesdays. Meditation has been proven to decrease stress and improve mood. A nice pick me up during these cloudy winter days.

Now 6-weeks, Healthy Backs and Bodies Returns

Learn the science of back health and engage in practical tools for improving and strengthening it with physical therapist Tanya Weiker. The class meets Thursdays at Noon in the TVUC Gaming Room from January 18 through March 1.

Breathe, Move, and Be Well Yoga 1 & 2 on Wednesdays

Join Dawn Miller for her popular yoga classes on Wednesdays in the Art Studio from January 17 through February 21.
Yoga 1 for those new to yoga or those with physical limitations takes place at 4:35 PM - Registration is open.
Yoga 2, for Yoga 1 graduates without limitations, takes place at 5:45 PM. Register Now!
