Consider supporting the work of The Glades Initiative during Great Give Give

Do you enjoy reading The Glades Community Updates? Please consider a gift to help continue supporting our work at keeping our community informed week in and week out. To leverage your gift, consider making the donation during Great Give on May 17.

Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties is a 24-hour online giving event led by United Way of Palm Beach County, Achieve, Nonprofits First and United Way of Martin County designed to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in a single day.

So on May 17, from midnight to midnight, Great Give hopes to strengthen the community by raising critical funds for local nonprofits like ours. Please support The Glades Initiative for the Great Give 2017! In addition to our Glades Community Updates, we are making a difference in the Glades area by assisting thousands of families with access to vital services, including healthy, affordable food and health insurance.

Donations must be made online using a credit or debit card or by calling 1-844-GIVE-DAY on May 17. All donations are 100 percent tax-deductible, and minimum donations are $20. Every local gift made during the 24-hour period will be multiplied by additional dollars from a bonus pool raised by United Way of Palm Beach County.

To make May 17 even more exciting, participating organizations can compete for hourly cash or otherwise valuable prizes. Over the last three years, Great Give has raised more than $8 million for over 500 nonprofits -- the goal is to make an even GREATer impact this year!

If you have any questions about Great Give or how you can participate, do not hesitate to contact Jose Zaragoza at [email protected]. To make a donation, visit the following page: https://www.greatgiveflorida.org/glades-initiative
