AMY'S BRIDAL BOUTIQUE
We are pleased to announce the expansion of Amy's Bridal Boutique.  Amy's Bridal Boutique is a family-owned and operated bridal boutique in Historic Downtown Manassas. It serves the entire wedding party, traditional and off-beat and specializes in vintage-inspired wedding planning. After six years of business in various Northern Virginia locations, Amy's found its perfect home right in the heart of Historic Downtown Manassas.  Three short years later they have outgrown their space on Battle Street and by mid-January, the boutique will reopen at 9082 Center Street, formerly Creative Brush Studios.

The new location will offer a greater selection of sizes and styles, including formal wear, and will enable owner Amy Domenech to expand the wedding planning side of the business.  Amy attributes her success not only to the unmatched quality and customer service found in her boutique, but also to the location in Historic Downtown.   "When I moved here in 2014, new life was breathed into my business, we became a part of a community of incredibly talented people running self-made businesses, inspiring and better yet- supporting others and encouraging them to do the same. This kind of small town charm with BIG ideas is exactly what I needed and wanted for my business."

At Amy's Bridal Boutique, it's not just about the dress, it's about the experience!

VIRGINIA MAIN STREET PROGRAM

You may have recently noticed the new entryway signs designating Manassas as a "Virginia Main Street Community."  The statewide program recently rebranded itself; however, the City has held this distinction for over 30 years.  In 1986, Manassas was selected to join the Virginia Main Street Program, which provides the historic district with architectural and marketing advice from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, Division of Historic Resources.

Since that time, Historic Manassas Inc. (HMI) has led the revitalization and promotion of Historic Downtown and has been instrumental in providing the unifying visual concept that reinforces a sense of place through distinctive signage, façade designs and landscaping/beautification.

VA Main Street is one of 39 programs nationwide which focus on the revitalization of downtowns through historic preservation.   The approach, which consists of strict guidelines members must follow, has a proven track record for generating impressive economic returns, preserving community character, and celebrating local history.

The City of Manassas is one of five communities in the Commonwealth to receive a "Great American Main Street Award" for encouraging economic growth through a commitment to preserving community character and celebrating local history.
