OWLS' "Choices in Health Promotion" program now listed in Evidence-Based Registry


OWLS program "Choices in Health Promotion" was just entered into the Department of Health's National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs. Independent reviewers cited that the program achieved promising outcomes in well-being, self-concept, spiritual health, physical health, exercise and nutrition, and alcohol use and disorders.

Choices is a customized program for small businesses, based on interviews with the small business owner and is best used as part of a broader small business wellness initiative in your community.

Study: Rx Prevention

 
While treatment remains the most prevalent approach to the "opioid epidemic," findings point to the efficacy of early intervention via onsite and web-based training to increase participant knowledge of prescription drug use, misuse, and health-based alternatives.
