Welcome to 2018! How exciting to have another fresh beginning. 2017 was a pretty wonderful year for PJ programming; we partnered with all the synagogues for various programs over the year, hosted a big Pre-Purim Bash at the Omaha Children's Museum, read PJ Library books at the JCC's Challah Tots program, offered a special grant opportunity for PJ parents to host get-togethers, were accepted as a partner community for PJ Our Way, and helped plan the community-wide Jewish Heritage Day at Werner Park. Think of what we can do together in the coming year!
Where: Friedel Jewish Academy (on JCC campus) When: Sunday, Jan. 7 from 10-11:30 am Details: Join PJ Library for a morning of service activities for children ages 0-5 and their parents (and/or grandparents!). Timed so you can drop older siblings at religious school and come have special time focused on your littles. Learn how even tiny hands can start giving back! The program will be formatted open-house style with activity stations set up highlighting a different craft or service project teaching a related Jewish value. Snacks and coffee will be available throughout the program (as well as a changing station and quiet comfy room for the tiniest attendees).
Optional one-day winter clothing drive: Bring donations of new hats, gloves, scarfs or pjs for children in Lutheran Family Services Refugee Resettlement Program.
(Beth El and Beth Israel tots will be meeting at this program instead of their regularly scheduled programming.)
