Boys & Girls Clubs of the Siskiyous E-Newsletter

2017
Dear Friends of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Siskiyous:
We've come a long way in a short time, and I'm happy to announce that we are opening our Club doors in Mt Shasta at Sisson Middle School, June 12th, 2017! I want to personally thank all who showed up at meetings, emailed, and spent hours volunteering in committees and organizing people, our ideas, and visions for how we want to create opportunity for children in Siskiyou County. Without you and your support, we wouldn't have been able to do this.

While we take a moment to celebrate our achievement of getting this far, our work is just beginning. Right now we are in the process of hiring an amazing staff for our summer and school year. We currently have four part-time positions remaining open, and one full-time Director position open. If you know any candidates that might be a good fit as a staff person in a youth program, please forward my contact information to them: noam@bgcsiskiyous.org or 530-220-5055.

I hope you will help continue the progress we've made by volunteering your time, talents, and treasures as we approach opening day, and beyond. Below you will find our FIRST issue of an e-newsletter geared to tell our story, praise youth's achievements, and show the community where we need their help. It takes everyone coming together to achieve our goals for young people, develop the next generation of leaders that make our community a place we're all proud of, and enliven the slogan of Boys & Girls Clubs, that in Mt. Shasta, Great Futures Start HERE!

Sincerely,

Noam Zimin
Executive Director
