Greetings from Durham Tourism
Spring greetings! Welcome to the May issue of Durham Tourism's Industry Insights!
It has certainly been a rainy spring -- perhaps all these May showers will bring spectacular flowers! Whatever the weather, we are looking forward to what promises to be a sensational season in Durham Region.

Durham Tourism is excited about the many projects and celebrations that are gearing up across the region, as we head towards celebrations for Canada's 150th birthday. Watch for an exciting announcement in early June about how Durham Tourism is supporting local celebrations of Canada's sesquicentennial.

This issue of Industry Insights has more great news for the tourism industry, from funding announcements to awards of excellence. We always love to hear from you! What's top of mind for you as we head into one of the busiest tourism seasons? Connect with us through the Durham Tourism Facebook and Sport Durham Facebook pages.
