Philip Beaulieu is the quintessential American success story. Phil moved to Western Mass area from a small Quebec town. Not knowing the English language, it was a struggle. Phil's wants and needs were simple and wanted to provide a better life and future for his family. While working in the hot environment of Fisk Rubber later Uniroyal Tire, Phil decided making tires had no future, so he took a job with a couple other French - Canadian men installing aluminum siding in 1967. Phil went door to door looking for work to keep himself busy. Phil is known as a pioneer in exterior remodeling. Phil Beaulieu Home Improvement, Inc. took off and grew, siding over 100 homes a year. Built on highest quality workmanship, Phil was always training employees to do it right and has a keen eye for talent. Today the business is owned and operated by his sons Alain and Francis Beaulieu. They have continued to hold employees to the highest standards and continue to innovate.
Saint Patrick
Saint Patrick's Day ,  feast day (March 17) of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland. Born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century, he was kidnapped at the age of 16 and taken to Ireland as a slave. He escaped but returned about 432 to convert the Irish to Christianity. By the time of his death on March 17, 461, he had established monasteries, churches, and schools. Many legends grew up around him-for example, that he drove the snakes out of Ireland and used the shamrock to explain the Trinity. Ireland came to celebrate his day with religious services and feasts.

St. Patrick's Day Toasts

Here's to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold beer and another one.
May your wishes come true and your truth be wise.
Happy St Patrick's Day!

Leprechauns, castles, good luck and laughter. Lullabies, dreams and love ever after.
A thousand welcomes when anyone comes... That's the Irish for You!
May your blessings outnumber The shamrocks that grow, And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go. May your glass be ever full. May the roof over your head be always strong. And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead. (With Irish accent) If liquor were a pond and I were a duck Id swim to the bottom and never come up... but liquor is not a pond and I'm not a duck so tip your cup and let's get messed up. ~Anonymous

Daylight savings

Five facts about Daylight Saving Time

1. Daylight saving is observed in only 48 states (Hawaii and Arizona are the exceptions) and 78 countries around the world.
2. The thought that turning our clocks back in the fall and ahead in the spring saves energy is false, according to the History Channel.
3. April will mark the 100th anniversary since the first country began observing Daylight Saving. Englishman William Willett pushed for it in his home country in 1907 but Germany began using it first on April 30, 1916.
Weeks later, their World War I enemy began what they termed "summer time."
4. The United States first used it in 1918 but Congress passed a law overturning it a year later. From then until the Uniform Times Act of 1966 was passed, the decision whether or not to use daylight saving was handled by local officials.
5. Only one-third of Americans think Daylight Saving is "worth the hassle", according to a 2014 Rasmussen poll. Two years earlier, 45 percent did.
