Make-a-thon: Cardboard Challenge
Saturday, January 13th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm
A Cardboard Challenge is an event where people of all ages work together to build games and other fun creations out of cardboard. Join our leaders, Brandon, Francesco, Elan, Ally, and Joe, students at Ramapo High School, for a very memorable afternoon of creative play at the Wyckoff Public Library. All creations will be included in the Ramapo High School Cardboard Challenge.
All ages are welcome! Snacks will be provided. Come to the Wyckoff Public library and let your imagination run wild!

AARON BURR
The Villain in Your History

Hamilton
, An American Musical is the hottest ticket on Broadway and Aaron Burr is the villain. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the Revolutionary War, he begins an unlawful relationship with the wife of a British officer. Elected Vice President in 1800 under Thomas Jefferson, he kills Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton in a famous duel in Weehawken, NJ. Burr gets away with murder, but is later tried for treason. This program covers the women in Burr's life and features music from the Broadway production including The Election of 1800 and the Hamilton Burr duel.
Presenter Rick Feingold teaches American Business History at Bergen Community College and holds a degree in History from Rutgers University.

Celebrate the beauty, spirit, and diversity of the form while learning about the important role dance can play in a child's world. Discover dance from a variety of entry points: as an art form, as an expression of diverse cultures and traditions, and as a healthy physical activity.
All of this for FREE through the library's museum pass program!

Blood Drive

Community Blood Services supplies blood products to more than 20 hospitals in New Jersey, including 100 percent of the blood used at Hackensack University Medical Center, Bergen Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Wayne. Your donation may save the life of a friend, neighbor or relative! Donations will be taken inside the Community Blood Services mobile donation vehicle in front of the library.

Any healthy individual aged
17 through 75 and weighing at least 110 pounds can don
ate. Walk-in donors are welcome but may have to wait for an available technician or may be turned away if the schedule is full. Donors should eat a moderate meal before donating and must bring identification showing signature. Donors receive complimentary nonfasting cholesterol and glucose screening.

The
Maker Space
at the Wyckoff Library is a place for community members to connect, discover, and create. The library strives to provide enriching opportunities for people to learn new skills and collaborate. The
Maker
Space will provide access to a variety of tools that allow patrons to make, explore, and tinker. Acquiring basic technology skills is essential in the 21st century. Libraries are a logical place for the community to come together to learn and explore technology-new and old.
The library received a grant from State Farm to create a
Maker
Space. Residents helped to secure the grant through voting online. Additional support for equipment has been given from the Friends of the Wyckoff Library.
