Thanks to our many volunteers and attendees, Gentle Giants in the Park was a big success and a lot of fun. We had a good turnout despite the torrential rain at times. Sherry Walter was named GPRA Volunteer of the Year and we can't thank Sherry and her husband Mike enough for fostering 60 PYRS and adopting 6 since we started GPRA 7 years ago.

The highlight of our event was witnessing the rebirth of Liam, Susan, Pence and Zoey. Each is such a remarkable story and all are testaments to the resiliency of the breed and evidence of what love and nurturing can do.
