n December, students learned about Habit 4, Think Win Win. This habit refers to the idea of working together so everyone has a positive outcome. Think win-win helps people solve problems where everyone sees a benefit. It is about working together to reach a compromise. Win-win sees life as a cooperative arena, not a competitive one. Win-win is a frame of mind and heart that constantly seeks mutual benefit in all interactions.
At home, you can discuss with your students how they can think win-win in situations. Also, encourage win-win solutions to sibling disputes at home. Don't always be the mediator; let them work out a solution and be sure to praise them when they do.
