As we enter 2018, let's be reminded that In John 15:5, Jesus Christ tells his followers "...apart from me you can do nothing."

This year, let's resolve to build healthy spiritual HABITS to pursue the Lord and bring Him glory!

To pray. 

To listen. 

And to respond to the Holy Spirit throughout each day.

Tuesday - January 9
Join Pastor Alex for guided prayer in the Uptown Auditorium (7:00-8:00am).  Please note the NEW location!

Come as you are.  Stay for the whole hour or 15 minutes.  Just come!  
Wednesday - January 10

Midweek resumes NEXT week! Come for supper followed by discipleship training for ALL ages.

Adopt a College Student (tuition bill NOT included!)
Carmel has contact information for 132 of our college students (spread out over 31 campuses in 12 states). 

Commit to praying for and encouraging a college student for the Spring semester. Details in the Gathering Space January 7 and 14. 
Needed: 200 Prom Hosts
Thanks to ALL who have signed up to help Carmel host 400 of our nearest and neighbors with special needs at Joy Prom! 

200 Hosts/Hostesses are still needed to  accompany guests throughout the event at Carmel.

This month donate paper products, stamps or gift cards (Walmart, Food Lion or Harris-Teeter) to support the wrap-around services provided to women incarcerated (and re-entering the community) in the Charlotte-area through local ministry partner Changed Choices,
