Which Artist's Work Will You Take Home on May 6th?

Tickets Available at:  ChuckJonesCenter.org/RedDot

Exciting News! Online pre-bidding for artwork in the seventh annual Red Dot Auction is now LIVE

Go to ChuckJonesCenter.org/RedDot and click the "Catalog" tab to view this year's amazing submissions to our six different sections: Abstract, Assemblage, Homage, Landscape, Portrait, and 3D!  There are two easy paths to bidding: Purchase tickets or register as a bidder.

Below is a small sample of the over 140 outstanding works of art that have been donated by artists from around the globe and which you may own if you're the winning bidder. Bids open at just $100!

The Marvin Martian painting below represents a stylistic departure for one of the most noted artists contributing this year. Who could it be? Find out Saturday, May 6 when the silent auction ends!

The Red Do Auction is different from other silent art auctions in that the contributing artists have signed their artwork on the reverse of the canvas. Consequently, attendees at the event will not know who the artist is when bidding, they'll only have their heart to follow. Won't you join us?

This year, we are honored to have Disney Imagineer, sculptor, puppeteer, and creator, Terri Hardin, live sculpting Friday evening during the Preview. She'll be putting finishing touches on an oil clay sculpture of Bugs Bunny as Brunhilde from Chuck Jones's masterpiece, "What's Opera, Doc?" now celebrating its 60th anniversary. Here's a sneak preview of the sculpture. All proceeds from its sale will benefit the programs of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity.

"Pinkie" represents the sixth time this artist has donated their time and talent to the Red Dot Auction! Look for the hidden face of Chuck Jones!

Participating artists include British POP art star and graphic novelist, Des Taylor; Michael Scharf, producer and creator of the children's animated program, "Do Re and Mi" starring Kristen Bell; Art Deco-inspired contemporary Orange County artist, Mike Kungl, and Eric Goldberg, longtime Disney animator and director.

Preview Night is scheduled for Friday, May 5th from 7 to 9 PM and will include a tribute to the contributing artists, a musical performance by students of Music Vault Academy, and a Glitter-painting performance by James C. Mulligan

Tickets available at ChuckJonesCenter.org/RedDot! All tickets come with two Red Dots, valued at $750 each. When you use your Red Dot(s)* you agree to pay $750 for that work of art. Listen for the cowbells when a Red Dot is used!

Online pre-bidding at ChuckJonesCenter.org/RedDot will end Wednesday, May 3 at 6 PM  PDT. Pre-bidding will begin again on Friday, May 5 at 7 PM and end with the closing of the sections on Saturday, May 6 by 10 PM PDT.  If you're pre-bidding and cannot attend, but would like to submit a proxy bid, please write [email protected].

*If a work of art is pre-bid over $750, then a "Buy It Now" Red Dot may not be used.
