Good afternoon everyone!

I can't wait for  A Night To Remember  on Sunday evening! We are going to be partying with some amazing people... the kind of people Jesus loves to party with!

I know there will be a lot of people participating... this is our biggest year yet!  We currently have just over 220 special needs guests and over 320 volunteers ready to dance the night away!

I know there will be limo rides and paparazzi... but what I can't wait for is the joy!  In this life we can become so focused on what other people think of us... what we are wearing... how we present. We can be so worried about the details of life that we never experience joy.

Well, I know this... there will be more joy experienced Sunday night than anywhere else in Western PA, because as we say every year,  "Our friends know how to have a good time and they know joy!"   I can't wait!

But before we throw this amazing party, we will be hearing from a young woman on Sunday morning who has chosen to make her life more complicated... but also filled with so much joy.

Bekah Behnke is a good friend of Stacie and I. In fact, we have known her since she was 5 or 6 years old.  Today she serves at a large church in Missouri as the special needs coordinator for the church.

Bekah is also the adopted mother of Millie. A beautiful little girl with downs syndrome and a few other genetic birth defects that necessitated heart surgery.  So it's been complicated for the Behnkes to say the least... but they wouldn't have it any other way!  Bekah will be sharing the message on Sunday and telling her story!

Like last year, Sunday morning will be sort of a pep-rally as we prepare to party like Jesus on Sunday evening... so you don't want to miss it!

Then, if you are not one of the 320 volunteers helping with
A Night To Remember, we want to invite you to come and be a part of the red carpet from 5-6:30PM.  You will want to arrive early as we are expecting about 1,000 well wishers!

It is going to be a blast on Sunday... don't miss one moment of it!

Summer Study for Women
Beginning Wednesday, June 14  *  7 PM

Daniel kept a detailed journal during a time when God's people were in captivity.  The book of Daniel helps us answer questions he had and we have: How is God faithful to his people? How can we be faithful to God, both personally and politically?  And what difference does it make?  We will meet for six Wednesdays this summer, beginning June 14th from 7-8:30 PM at the home of Debbie Harrington.  Bring a Bible and a friend.  To sign up, mark your "flap" on Sunday or contact Debbie if you have questions.
Discovery on Adventure (Singles)
Beginning Saturday, June 17

Every month this summer, we'll be organizing some fun outings for singles around ages 30-50.  We'll be doing all kinds of things like kayaking, baseball games, and hiking.  The best friendships are discovered when we're on the same path working toward the same goals. This group seeks to provide the adventures that bring strong connections.  To sign up, mark your "flap" on Sunday or if you have questions, contact Deb Miller.
Discovery on Mission

One of the main goals of Journey Groups is to serve together to connect more and more people with Jesus.  Sometimes we say, we want to MOVE together.  While all Journey Groups engage in serving, this group is highly committed to consistently helping others throughout our community.  Each month we'll engage in different projects and objectives to serve others throughout the year in local missions each week.  If you would like to be a part of this group mark your "flap" on Sunday or if you have questions, please contact
Nick Ranjan .
Infertility Support Group

Approximately 6-10% of married couples are infertile, meaning that they can't get or stay pregnant.  This statistic affects Christians and churchgoers, too. Infertility is lonely. If you find yourself in this group, we want you to know that you are loved and you are not alone.  Please consider joining our private group where frustration is met with friendship. If you think that you may benefit from hearing about similar experiences, sharing medical information, or being reminded that you are important apart from being someone's mom or dad, please contact Debbie Harrington or send her a private Facebook message.
Prayer Requests

If you have a prayer request that you would like the prayer team to pray for,  please mark the "flap" on Sunday or email your request. Let us know f you would like your request to remain anonymous.  If you would like to be added to the list of people who receives and prays for requests each week, please email us and we will add you to the prayer updates.
