St. Paul's Church

Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

It has been a great honor for us to partner with the Military Mom's Prayer Group in their ministry to our men and women who serve in the armed forces, and their families.

Cdr. Thomas C . Fritz, Capt. David T. Fritz, EO1 Douglas T. Fritz, and Sue Ann Fritz
The Military Moms Prayer Group is an interdenominational group of women whose mission is to support our troops deployed around the globe through weekly prayer and holiday outreach drives. The Military Moms represent diverse faith backgrounds - from Catholic, to Jewish, to Orthodox, to Protestants of all stripes. But when they join in a circle to pray, differences melt away, as they turn to the Father of all mercies to calm their souls and refresh their spirit.

And we are especially excited to join the Military Moms in their "Holiday for Heroes" Independence Day Outreach.  Just this past Sunday, we handed out 18 bags which will be filled with letters, clothing, Bibles, food, candy and games for soldiers serving overseas.  It's an opportunity for us to say "thank you" and let them know we're praying for their safe return home.

Skimmer youth group  - April 26, 2017
When the filled bags come back, we'll gather with the Skimmers Ministry at Bethel Creek House on May 24th to pack the boxes and pray for the soldiers.  Then the packed boxes will be sent to the front in time for Independence Day.  All generations who enjoy our freedom will gather to serve the faithful men and women who are laying down their lives for us.

Please join us in "Bringing Christ to the World"!

Gratefully in Christ,

Pr. Jon

Independence Day Outreach Mission

In support of our troops and the Military Mom's Prayer Group, we are asking the congregation to participate in the "Holiday for Heroes" campaign this Independence Day.

We need "prayers", "payers" and "players" to complete this St. Paul's Church "Outreach Mission" that will let our troops know that they are not forgotten.  Through our collaboration, special packages will be sent to those defending our country, just in time for the Fourth of July.

For more information on how to get involved, please speak with Robbie Walker or Jack Wittpenn.
