Blue Ridge Classic Soap Box Derby

The All-American Soap Box Derby, "the greatest amateur racing event in the world," is a youth gravity racing program for boys and girls ages 7 through 20 years old.
This event, put together by Parks and Recreation and lots of great neighbor volunteers, is a great way to get acquainted with neighbors, as well as to check out the many FREE things
Rosenwald Community Center has to offer.
Mark your calendars: Petpawlooza will be taking place Saturday, May 13 in 2017. That's right mamas, celebrate the Mother's Day weekend by bringing your furbabies to Coyner Springs Park for this dogcentric event. There will be all sorts of activities for you and your pooch to participate in and watch. Sponsor and vendor applications now being accepted.
The Waynesboro Farmer's Market is back! Kicking off on Saturday, May 13th, the farmer's market will be held downtown from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot beside Constitution Park (corner of Main Street and Arch Avenue). Come on out and get your fresh produce, local meat, fresh eggs, flowers, plants, baked goods, and more!
