George Nolan Foy 1927 - 2017 

George Nolan Foy
, 90, of Wadsworth died December 30, 2017, after a courageous 15 year battle with Parkinson's.   George was born October 20, 1927, in Philippi, West Virginia, to George C. Foy and Marie (Rohrbough) Foy.

George served in the U. S. Army at the end of World War II.  He retired from Ohio Edison with 41 years of service.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 69 years, Winnie; along with their three sons, Mike (Sharon), Dave (Carol), and Dan; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two sisters.

George had a loving, giving heart.   He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend, and an inspiration and excellent role model for everyone he met.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 5th, at 11 am at First Christian Church, 116 E Boyer St., Wadsworth.   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am.

A private inurnment will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
