TOKLAT GALLERY

Hello my friends,

See, I told you so - I'm back. This is a photo of Michael Kinsley and myself at a show of his paintings at  the Gallery in January. Check out his link.

When I was a little girl, lo those many years ago, my parents, my brothers Greg and Alan, and I traveled  to Corydon, Indiana once a year to visit my mother's parents and her brother's family. It was an  adventure, mind you. We drove in a huge power wagon truck to which my father had affixed this  Calistoga type tent to the truck bed - in which we camped and from where I got my first look at the  Tetons! And although the following is not part of my memory, I am sure we returned with a load of  gorgeous wood and veneers from Richard Stem and Co. in New Albany. What I do remember, though,  is visiting a glass blowing studio in Corydon and it was love at first sight with the process and end  products of such great beauty. Zimmerman Art Glass is still there!! So I am thinking this summer should  be all about glass: blown, molded, mosaic, enamel, beads!

So to begin, I present Robert Burch
