5 Year - Up to 5.50% cap - "A" rated carrier.
Happy New Year! One of our premier A rated carriers announced a rate increase this morning on several of their products. The 5 year indexed contract is now offering a 5.50% S&P 500 point to point cap on premium of $100,000 and up (5.25% below $100,000). The carrier provides 10% penalty free liquidity in all years. At the end of year 5, the account is fully liquid.
If you have a case calling for shorter surrender periods with competitive rates, this is the contract to consider. Another crediting option offered is an S&P 500 risk controlled index with up to 65% participation.
