Raiden is a 4 year old preschooler at Ohio Valley Voices. Raiden was diagnosed with
profound hearing loss in his right ear and severe hearing loss in his left ear shortly after birth. Raiden received a
cochlear implant at age 1, and a second cochlear implant 8 months later. Raiden and his family enrolled into OVV's Parent-Infant Program when he was 5 months old. Raiden attended OVV's Toddler Program and then OVV's preschool program where he thrives today. Next year, Raiden will attend a traditional preschool program with his hearing peers. Raiden's parents, Brooke and Nathan say, "Raiden has never let being deaf stop him from doing anything. We are very grateful for his time at OVV and the tools provided to assist in his success. We could not be more proud of all he has overcome and accomplished in his short four years at OVV."

Ohio Valley Voices Alumni Summer Camp
Ohio Valley Voices Alumni Summer Camp registration is now open! All happy campers between the ages of six and twelve years are invited to register for a great week of traditional summer camp activities.
Interested alumni, who are teenagers, are encouraged to participate in camp this summer as Junior Counselors. If your OVV alumni is entering high school or older and is looking for fun volunteer opportunities, please have them apply! Applications for Junior Counselors can be found online using this link.
