Derby Day is almost here.... have you secured your tickets yet? This annual party has created a lot of great memories over the past 8 years and is always a great way to kick off our season here at FLD.

We also bring back our Saturday distillery tours in May and have added an afternoon tour that gives a brief overview of our production methods and concludes with a barrel room tasting experience. See more below.

If you are ready to start hiking and enjoying the beautiful Finger Lakes scenery, please beware of the spirits you might find along the way - not the alcoholic beverage kind. Just another great video in our series!

Countdown to the Derby!

Throw on your derby hats and join us for our annual Kentucky Derby Party, featuring live music by the Notorious Stringbusters, bbq & heavy hors d'oeuvres from Nickel's Pit BBQ, cask ales from Seneca Lake Brewing Company, wines and hard ciders from Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards and last but 
not least, our famous mint juleps!

McKenzie Rye Wins Silver!

Our McKenzie Rye Whiskey has been awarded yet again, this time by the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition! Since its introduction in 2000, the SFWSC has become one of the most respected and influential spirits competitions in the world. According to the Competition, "Products awarded a Silver medal are outstanding in their category. They show refinement, finesse, and complexity. They are among the best examples of their particular category." We are so excited to share this news with you all, and grateful to the SFWSC for awarding our McKenzie Rye with such a high honor. Official results will be posted to sfspiritscomp.com on May 15th.

Blueberry GINger
April Featured Cocktail

We're getting a head start on those summer vibes with this light and refreshing favorite. This gin based cocktail is an easy-to-mix crowd pleaser perfect for your 
next barbecue!

You'll Need:
  • 1.5 oz McKenzie Distiller's Reserve Gin
  • .75 oz blueberry shrub
  • ginger beer
Instructions:
  • Combine gin and shrub in a rocks glass over ice. Top with ginger beer to desired taste, give it a quick stir and garnish with lemon or lime.
