Military Scholarship Recipient

   

Congratulations to Brenden Nesbit who recently received the George & Mimi Frank Scholarship at a luncheon in Sun City, Florida.

 

 

 

Deadline for Step Up for Students 2017-2018 Submission is Monday, May 1, 2017
All supporting documentation, along with the application, must be submitted by May 1, 2017, 11:59pm. All Applications submitted after this date will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis if funding is available. To apply, click on the following link: www.stepupforstudents.org

Accepting Registration for 2017-2018
CURRENT STUDENTS MUST RE-ENROLL FOR NEXT YEAR.
If you have not re-enrolled your child for next year, please take a few minutes and complete this. A new email with the link was sent on 4/12/17. There is a 30 day expiration date on the link, so act quickly. If your student is not returning to Santa Fe, please contact Sarah Salamin at
 
Our regular registration rate is $400 per student and is non-refundable. 
Registration fee can be paid by mailing in a check or by contacting the office with a credit card number.

Maker Fair
May1st - 5th
The Learning Commons will host a Maker Fair. Students and staff will showcase creations they have made throughout the year. Dr. Logsdon's tech classes will also be sharing digital projects. Local colleges have been invited to share as well. Our MakerSpace Club is the sponsor and each member should have something to exhibit.  
Cheer Tryouts
Saturday, May 6th, 9:30am-12:30pm in the SFC Gym

NHS Homework Help Sessions

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2:30-3:30pm in the LC

Sessions are open for any student who is looking for a quiet place to work on homework after school. National Honor Society members will be available to help answer questions students may have on their assignments.       

Yearbook News!
School yearbooks can be purchased online through Balfour at http://www.balfour.com/florida/lakeland/santa-fe-catholic-high-school/
 
The cost is $65 for a basic yearbook, and add-ons are available for an extra fee. Personalization is no longer available.
 
Yearbooks can also be purchased at school from Mrs. Lopez. Checks should be made out to "Santa Fe Catholic High School."  All yearbooks will be delivered in May.

Spring Break Europe Trip 2018
We are pleased to announce an 11 day trip to France and Switzerland for next year's spring break. The itinerary includes: Paris, Versailles, Chartres, the Loire Valley, St. Malo, Normandy (Mont-St-Michel, D-Day beaches and museum), Rouen, Seine River cruise, Bern, Lucerne, and Mt. Pilatus. The dates are March 22-April 1, 2018. Included in the price: roundtrip airfare, hotels, breakfast and dinner, services of a tour director, site visits, tips for the tour director and driver.
 
The cost is $3512.  This price is good until June 1.  A $50 deposit will lock in this price. Various payment plans are available.

Mandatory Forms Needed to Participate in Sports
All students participating in sports for the 2017-18 school year MUST have a sports physical dated after June 1, 2017. Print the following highlighted links ( EL2 and EL3) and make sure you take the EL2 with you and have it signed by the doctor. Both completed forms must be turned in to the front office prior to participating in practice.
