Keys to Homeschooling
Keys to Homeschooling in the Keystone State is the CHAP guide on how to comply with the homeschool law in Pennsylvania. It was updated in 2016, and should contain everything you need to know. The nearly 60 page manual includes a blank copy of the necessary affidavit, and is especially helpful if you are just getting started. Purchase a downloadable copy today. Or see us at the CHAP Booth during our convention to purchase a hard copy.

Vendor Give-Away
Great Vendors!

When you make purchases in CHAP's vendor hall you:
  • help yourself to the best savings (vendor convention discounts and no shipping costs).
  • encourage your favorite vendors (and new ones) to come back year after year, many of whom are homeschool families themselves.
  • take part in supporting your non-profit state homeschool association which exists solely for the homeschool community.

Great Prizes!

CHAP and participating homeschool vendors want to tangibly thank you for this mutually beneficial relationship by providing you with great prizes. Visit the vendors listed on the CHAP 2017 Convention Give-Away Card, learn about their resources, and have your card punched. After each listed vendor has punched your card, you will be eligible to win one of thirteen prizes.

Drop your completed card at the CHAP Booth no later than 2 p.m. Saturday. One name will be randomly chosen for each prize. Winners' names will be posted on the announcement board located in the Vendor Hall. Winners can pick up their prize at the CHAP Booth after 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

Convention 2017 FAQ's
Q: I can’t afford the registration, but I’d like to come to the convention. Are there any scholarships?

A. Unlike most other conventions, CHAP has instituted and maintained the generous policy of providing registration rebates (at the Early Bird rate) for those who volunteer just a few hours during the whole convention. Did you know that, to keep your costs down, CHAP is primarily volunteer-run? Find more information under Volunteers.
