Join us in showing  our
appreciation  to  all of our teachers!

The week of May 1st is officially National Teacher Appreciation Week but we are cele brating for two weeks!   Thank you to all of our amazing teachers for the dedication this year and all the ways they have loved our students.

As we look ahead to 2017-2018 school year, we want to give you a heads up on some changes.

2nd Grade

We are adding another class to our 2nd grade as we follow our plan of growth by adding a classroom to each grade.

4th, 5th, & 6th Grade

We have been studying this area of the school more in depth the last two years and have come to the conclusion that we need to have one teacher to care for these students in all core subjects rather than them having so many teachers.  Thus, Mr. Anderson has agreed to take this on for 6th grade.  Mrs. Smith will take this on for 5th grade and Mr. Harcey will look to stay on in some other part time capacity helping with Math but we will be hiring a new full time teacher for the 4th grade.  Mr. Orr will be moving up to the junior high.

7th &  8th Grade

Mrs. Red is retiring to spend more time with her husband.  Mrs. Red has served for over 40 years in the education world here and abroad in China.  She has written a letter for the school community here.  Please pray for Mrs. Red and her husband as they serve God in other ways in their retirement.  We have been very blessed by them in their short time in our school.  Thank you Mrs. Red for your dedication and love for your students.

Mrs. Harrison will continue to work as our librarian and will be teaching in the high school only.

High School

Miss McKune will be leaving us at the end of this year.  We have been blessed by her teaching for 4 years.  She has written a letter to families here. Thank you Miss McKune for your service to our school community these past few years.  May God bless you and your fiance as you begin your new adventure together!

Thus, we would like to ask that you join us in praying for all of our teachers and that God would provide us with amazing teachers to join our school community for the upcoming school year.
