This months living value is RESPONSIBILITY.

This month's living value is Responsibility. We have been teaching the children to "Do what they say they will do." A famous quote states "People with good intentions make promises, but people with good character keep them. Each day we strive to instill living values into our youth and each day we strive to impact their lives in unforgettable ways. This is the core of our values program.

Milagro STARS Summer Programming is on the horizon. This year we have field trips planned for visits to Morikami, Quiet Waters Park, Boca Museum and many more. We will offer our youth Swimming, Zumba, Art, Dance, Voice, and Music Instruction! We're excited and ready to kick off Summer Camp!

A Mentoring Moment

"I have been Romeyah's mentor for almost two years. We started together when she was in kindergarten and it is hard to believe she is finishing up second grade.  When we spend our time together we break it into different segments. First we do homework together which will include reading a book, then we move to an arts and crafts project, and if we still have time we end by playing a game. Just last week Romeyah taught me how to play Domino's.Every time I walk through the door I get the warmest greeting and I know I am making a difference."

  - Debra Kurzious

" I love my mentor! Se has been my mentor since I was in Kindergarten. She has taught me so much in two years. She comes once a week, we do homework and then play a game together. I don't know where I would be without her! I love her so much!"

- Romeyah Duvelsaint
