Presenter:   Lisa Perry-Wood is a principal in Clarity Consulting Partners, with over 25 years of grant writing and fundraising experience. Her client list has included small and large non-profits, government agencies, public and charter schools, providing grants and fundraising work in education, the arts, science, human services, social justice and other areas. Lisa has taught a 3-credit course in grant writing and fund development for local colleges and universities, as well as numerous workshops and classes for Associated Grant Makers in Boston. She was the founding president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Grants Professionals Association. Lisa lives in Lexington, Massachusetts and is a certified yoga teacher/Ayurveda consultant.

In this course taught by a highly-rated SPCT, you will learn how to:
  • Lead an enterprise agile transformation
  • Implement the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe)
  • Train managers and executives in Leading SAFe and act as a SAFe Agilist (SA) certifying agent
This four-day course will prepare you to lead an enterprise Agile transformation by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®). You will learn how to effectively apply the principles and practices of SAFe, including training with SAFe courseware, and coaching teams, launching Agile Release Trains, and building and managing an Agile portfolio. 

The first two days of the course-Leading SAFe-will provide you with the basis to teach SAFe to others, and if certified you'll be eligible to teach the Leading SAFe course.  The next two days focus exclusively on implementing SAFe. 

Certification is optional to attendees. Those who achieve SPC certification are authorized to license SAFe training materials. Associated Certification: SAFe Program Consultant 4.0 (SPC4)

System of Systems Engineering Collaborators Information Exchange (SoSECIE)

The System of Systems Engineering Collaborators Information Exchange is a web-based seminar series typically held once or twice a month from 11 am - Noon, Eastern Time. Members of the defense acquisition community from government, industry, and academia are invited to hear these free presentations on a wide range of relevant system of systems engineering topics. The goal of this series, held in association with the 
National Defense Industrial Association's SoS Engineering Committee, is to provide guidance, education, and training for SoS and dissemination of engineering best practices. IEEE P2675™ DevOps - Standard for Building Reliable and Secure Systems  Including Application Build, Package and Deployment

Why get involved:

This standard will specify practices for groups including development,
operations and other key stakeholders to collaborate and communicate
effectively to build, package and deploy software and systems in a
secure and reliable way. All of these activities and functions shall be
integrated within the complete lifecycle.

In addition, the DevOps standard must address and incorporate existing
IEEE and ISO standards related to Systems and Software engineering,
Configuration Management, Verification & Validation, Information
Security, Measures of Reliability and Software Testing among others.
DevOps does not contradict existing industry standards, but applies new
principles and practices to integrate existing processes.
