Weekly Cornerstone Blog
on the New City Catechism

In an effort to make our year through the New City Catechism as fruitful and helpful as possible, some of our pastors and elders are writing a weekly blog to provide additional insights and explanation on the question for that week.

It includes the question and answer, the kids' answer, the accompanying memory verse, additional verses to consider on that question, some commentary on life application, and a connection to our church's statement of faith.

How to Study the Bible

3-part class on Sunday mornings:
Jan. 14th, 21st, & 28th
@ 8:45 am in Room 222

Starts this Sunday!

You know that God calls you to read, study, memorize and meditate on his Word.
But did you know that you can read it wrong?

Read it wrong and you'll come away with not only incorrect information, but maybe even deadly heresy! It happens all the time!  Don't be that guy or girl.

Taryl Jasper, one of Cornerstone's elders, will be teaching a  3-part class on  How to Study the Bible. Join us at  8:45 am on Sundays: Jan. 14, 21 and 28 in Room 222.

Marriage Conference
"Redeeming the Realities of Marriage, with Paul Tripp"
(live video stream)

Part 2: Saturday, Feb. 24th, 6:00-9:00 pm

Somehow, some way, every marriage will become a struggle at times.

If you want to enjoy a beautiful, life-long relationship, you will need more than romance, and something deeper than shared interests and mutual attraction. You will need realistic expectations, radical commitments, and most importantly, you need grace.

In this life-changing  two-part livestream video event, Dr. David Paul Tripp (marriage counselor, award-winning author, and international conference speaker) will teach you how to develop a relationship of unity, understanding, and love.

Our Mission

Our mission as a church is very simple and it comes directly from Jesus. Jesus gave the Church her mission in the "Great Commission" in Matthew 28:19-20. It defines why we exist as a church:

To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ
