HERE to see the exam schedule. During the exam period there are no scheduled classes. All students will write their exams in the morning and then go home to prepare for their next exam.
The last day of classes for Grades 7 - 12 students is Thursday, June 15 and exams start on Friday, June 16.
The last day of exams for Grades 7, 8, and 10 students is Friday, June 23.
The last day of exams for Grade 11 students is Monday, June 26.
The last day of exams for Grade 12 students is Wednesday, June 28.
The last day of exams for the 9G class is Wednesday, June 28.
The last day of exams for the 9B class is Thursday June 29.
During the exam period, students are expected to come to school on-time, be in proper uniform, and in their homeroom for regular morning procedures. After announcements, students and teachers will then move to the classroom where their exam will take place. All exams start at 9:00 a.m. and students must remain in their exam until at least 10:30 a.m. Junior High exams will end at 11:00 a.m. and high school exams will end at 12:00 noon (except PATs and Diplomas - their times are determined by Alberta Education).
Students are to go home when they finish their exam in order to allow them sufficient time to review for their next one. As soon as Junior High students complete their exam, they may be picked up by a parent/guardian. Those who are not picked up immediately will proceed to the Bessborough Hall Drama Room until they are picked-up (pick-up time is 11 a.m.). High School students may leave as soon as they finish their exam or wait for pick-up in the student lounge (their pick-up time is 12:00 noon).
