Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am pleased to announce that the Board of Education of Lake Forest High School District 115 and Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 have approved the appointment of Jordan Salus as Chief Technology Officer K-12, effective July 1, 2017. 

Mr. Salus comes to our districts from Aptakisic-Tripp School District 102 in Buffalo Grove where he has served as the Technology Operations Manager since 2011. Mr. Salus holds a Master of Science in Education in school business management from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Arts in history from Roosevelt University.

In his current position, Mr. Salus has been instrumental in effecting transformative change in the way students and staff engage in the curriculum through technology. In his new role, Mr. Salus will be responsible for all aspects of Lake Forest District 67 and 115's technology programs. He will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of both information and instructional technology initiatives.

Mr. Salus states, "I'm very excited to be joining the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff community. It will be an incredible honor to work with such a highly regarded group of professional educators. I look forward to bringing my unique skill set to this position so that I am able to continue to help the school and community move learning forward."
