Aurora Ballroom 

Our mission at Aurora Ballroom is to inspire people to positively transform their lives and reach their full potential through the journey of learning to ballroom dance. We strive to provide thorough, supportive and expert dance instruction in a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere for all ages and skill levels.
 
About Erin Kaya Owner/Instructor:
A professional teacher and dancer for over 10 years, Erin began dancing at age 3 with the foundation of Ballet. At 5 years old she was selected as one of 10 students to be in a specialized training group. She advanced quickly as an amateur winning numerous local and national competitions also studying several styles, including salsa, hip-hop, belly dance, afro-Cuban, and flamenco.

She discovered and fell in love with ballroom dance in her teens. She has performed professionally in several shows, including a televised performance at the Boston Commons Tree Lighting ceremony.
Erin's skills cover all areas of International styles and American Styles of dance. Erin strives to infuse her passion into every lesson to ensure each student discovers their full inner talent and dances beyond where they ever thought possible. She also continues to dance, update her knowledge, and freshen her skills to offer students the latest industry information and techniques.

Latin Dance, Ballroom Dance and Ballroom Competition 
Swing Dance and Salsa
Wedding Preparation - Mother-Son Dance and Father-Daughter Dance
Flash-mob Choreography and Specialty Choreography

Come and meet some of the friendliest reptiles in New England! Brought to you by Zoo Creatures/New England Reptile, Alana will be here to teach you about some of the most impressive animals in the animal kingdom. From giant snakes to prehistoric lizards, you can learn, touch, hold and hug!
Zoo Creatures/New England Reptile is an exotic pet store/reptile breeding facility right in your own back yard in Plaistow, NH.

Night Out!

On Wednesday, May 17, Northshore magazine hosted the ultimate girls' night-the 4thAnnual Northshore's Night Out in the Grand Ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Danvers. Guests shopped over 40 fashion, beauty, jewelry, home goods, and accessory vendors, and participated in beauty treatments from the North Shore's finest salons, spas, and cosmetic professionals. Additionally, VIP guests received a swag bag, complete with a bottle of champagne. The event was sponsored by JD Consulting, RN Esthetics, Nulmage Entertainment, Benoit & McCarthy Photography, and K. Marie Photography.

Tall Ships Sail Into Newburyport and Boston This Week.

Three tall ships will sail into Newburyport Harbor during Maritime Days on May 24-29.  They will dock for five days on the waterfront right behind the Custom House Maritime Museum, at 25 Water St. The ships will be the highlight of the museum's popular annual event.
Last May, the tall ship El Galeon, a replica of a 16th-century Spanish merchant ship, drew large crowds to Newburyport.
