First Friday Garden Walk at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park

J oin a ranger each First Friday of the month at 10am for a walk through our historical gardens.  Learn about the history of our park while exploring the beauty of the formal gardens. The walk is approximately 1 hour.    

Please wear comfortable walking shoes! 

Meet in the Garden parking lot.  
Garden walk included with park entry.

Second Saturday Plant Sale

Our knowledgeable team of plant volunteers is here to give personal attention and answer your questions as you purchase Florida friendly plants and novelties for your home and yard.  With master gardeners on the team, you are sure to get the information and advice you are looking for!   
 
This month, at 11am our "Plant Chat" will feature the care and culture of Bromeliads. This extraordinary family of plants is prized by many gardeners and is very rewarding to grow and collect.  Participants will become familiar with the characteristics of Bromeliads and the use and care of them in the home, patio, and garden.  
 
Our Plant Bench volunteers now have their own dedicated phone line at the park.  Please leave a voice message at 386-302-5590. Volunteers are not at the park daily. Please be patient as your call will be responded to as soon as possible.
