No-Cost Export Sales Training Seeking Manufacturers for BEAM Program

Long Beach City College’s B2B E-Commerce for Advanced Manufacturing (BEAM) program can take your business more places and connect you to more opportunities. Launching January 2018, this no-cost program will provide training and guidance to prepare participating companies for new cross-border sales and a 2018 trade mission. This special training series is offered for companies to optimize B2B E-Commerce, engage with foreign buyers, and grow export sales.

Go-Biz Partners with CMTC to Promote 'CA Made' Manufacturing Labeling Program

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) today announced a partnership with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) designed to increase the benefits for businesses that participate in GO-Biz’s recently launched ‘CA Made’ state labeling program for manufacturers. The partnership provides CA Made manufacturers with access to the statewide benefits of CMTC’s ‘Made in California’ program.

Recent LAEDC report points to job growth in the SoCal Aerospace Industry

Regional productive advantages continue to drive aerospace job growth in Southern California, according to new analysis by the LAEDC. Additionally, the changing face of the region’s aerospace industry, with more consumer-facing entrants, such as in autonomy, satellite systems and private space flight, are becoming increasingly important drivers of innovation not just in aerospace, but across many industries, ranging from transportation, to automotive, to information and communications technology (ICT).
