HONOR SOMEONE SPECIAL...

...Through a Hymnal Dedication

It is time for new worship aids!
To accommodate our weekly liturgies and provide copies for musicians, we will need 750 hymnals at a cost of $15,000.  We are offering you an opportunity to donate $30 per Gather III hymnal.  Donations may be made in honor of someone living, or as a memorial for a deceased loved one.  There will be a small bookplate in the front of each new hymnal to honor the designated individual.
We will offer 3 ways for you to make a donation...
We have envelopes below the Monitor in the Gathering Space.

Dear Parishioners

We are looking for help with the very special ministry of cleaning and pressing our Altar Linens. It is time for parishioner Nancy Hinke to pass on this ministry to a new servant of the table.  Nancy has cared for our Altar Linens for over forty years for our community.
Her commitment and dedication is inspiring.
And so we will be looking for help in this regard.  This essentially involves the washing and pressing of the Purificators, the Lavabo (hand) towels and the Corporal (the 24 inch cloth that rests on the Altar Cloth). If you would like to be of service, please call or email me and I will explain a bit more about this ministry.

Blessings,
Bill Bradley

TEACHER FEATURE

Hi, I'm Joyce Quy and I've been the first grade teacher's aide for the last 31 years; and for 34 years, the school's volunteer coordinator. It has been an extremely rewarding experience helping to form the lives of our younger students and watching them grow into well-educated, faith-filled young adults. And now these former students are sending their own children to St. Joseph's. As much as I've enjoyed and appreciated this calling, I do plan to retire at the end of the school year. Some things you may not know about me:
* I grew up in a family of 10 kids (6 girls, 4 boys) and we all get along with each other!!
* My husband, Denny, and I have 3 grown children, Andrea, Matthew, and Teresa... all attended St. Josephs.
* We enjoy traveling and spending time with our grandchildren. A 7th grandchild is due in July.
* My hobbies are gardening, playing the piano, listening to music, and woodworking with my husband.
