Are you a poet who has sent to us before, looking for a home for that unique manuscript?  

If so, you may qualify to send again during our May Reading Period: any book-length collection, including the same manuscript you have submitted before.

Each of our submission periods uses a

different evaluation process, so each constitutes a fresh, new opportunity to be published.

All May submissions go straight to our editors, with no intervening layers of readers. W e'll pick up to five books for publication in 2018.

Ann Pelletier's brave and haunting poems examine the meaning of disappearance.

This year we have a full board of six editors, and any one of us could fall in love with your book. May books are offered a standard publishing contract and promotional support.


You are eligible to submit if you:
  • Have ever been a semi-finalist or finalist in one of our book contests;
  • Have ever been eligible to submit to the Hilary Tham Capital Collection;
  • Have already been published by The WORD WORKS;
  • Have been nominated by any of the fine poets who have judged contests for us in the past.
