"Her elegantly structured, expansive, and unapologetic account captures the sense of one woman's self about as honestly as it is possible to do on a page... Dederer's memoir speaks eloquently to questions all women have."  -Library Journal (starred review)

This week's Book of the Week is 'And Then There Was Me' by Sadeqa Johnson.
Bea is a wife and mother in upscale suburbia where she struggles with endless problems that make a sympathetic reader shake. Between the devastation of her husband's serial infidelity, her fight against bulimia, a surrogate child, and a crumbling support structure, Bea's resilience and her determination to escape self-harm is a cause worth cheering for.
