Holy Comfort Box
Registration Begins
This Sunday, Jan. 14
Starting this Sunday, you can register your young adults (18-24) for this year's Holy Comfort Box Program. In late February/early March each registered young adult living away from home (i.e., at college or in the military) will receive a gift box of "Holy Comfort" at his/her away-from-home address. This program is coordinated by ECW (Episcopal Church Women), in cooperation with several other parish groups. Bring your young adult's address with you to church and fill out a form to complete the process. Or download a Registration Form HERE to print and complete in advance. Return the completed form to the Holy Comfort Box table in the narthex, or email the information to Joni Langevoort. Questions? Please contact Joni Langevoort.

Opening to Grace Retreat
Saturday, Feb. 3; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Led by Alexandra MacCracken,
Gestalt Pastoral Care Minister
This retreat features Gestalt Pastoral Care, a model of healing ministry that integrates Gestalt growth work with Spiritual companioning and healing prayer. Gestalt Pastoral Care rests on the belief that God's healing Grace is available to us, and that God desires to heal holistically -- body, mind, spirit, emotions and social context -- in a way that is unique to each person. The cost is $150 for a full participant and $80 for an observer/intercessor. Register online HERE. Space is limited and participation will be on a first come, first served basis. Questions? Contact Alexandra MacCracken.

Becoming the Beloved Community
On this Sunday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, join in a conversation on the intersection of Dr. King's vision of the "Beloved Community" and Bishop Michael Curry's initiative for the work of reconciliation in the Episcopal Church: "The Beloved Community is the body within which we promote the fruits of the spirit and grow to recognize our kinship as people who love God and love the image of God that we find in our neighbors, in ourselves, and in creation." Grab a cup of coffee and join us in McGill Hall! Read more HERE. Learn about future Adult Forums HERE.

Hosted by the Holy Comforter Moms' Group
Please join us for a discussion on family nutrition facilitated by Aimee Davis, fellow Holy Comforter mom whose three "almost" grown children didn't always want to eat their veggies! This will be a collaborative conversation on how to create healthy food habits when life is busy and find alternatives to fill in the nutrition gaps. Please email Aimee Davis if you have a specific topic/concern you want to add to the discussion. Also, feel free bring a favorite family recipe to share! Light refreshments will be served during this event. All are welcome.
