On May 4th Congress reached a budget agreement to keep the federal government open through September 30th. The approved federal budget included full funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities with a slight increase. Thank you to all who called, wrote, and emailed their congressional representatives in support of the humanities.
With the passage of the federal budget, Arizona Humanities is moving forward with the second Project Grant cycle this fiscal year. Please review the information and deadlines below. Organizations may request up to a $10,000 Project Grant to support their program implementation.
For projects taking place October 1, 2017 through April 15, 2019
All organizations must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). After the deadline, all forms are reviewed for applicant and project eligibility. Approved LOI registrations will be invited to submit a full application.

Mini Grant funding available to support smaller humanities projects
If your organization is planning a project smaller in scale or before October 1st, check out
Mini Grants. Organizations can apply for up to
$2,000 to fund capacity-building, program planning, and implementation of programs. Mini Grant proposals must be submitted at least 60 days prior to project start date. The Mini Grant application does not require a Letter of Intent.
