GREAT EVENTS ARE POPPING UP AROUND
LONGMONT!
And June is a great time to "pop" into events around our community!
Enjoy farm-fresh vegetables and fruits at the Longmont Farmers Market, each Saturday, from 8 am until 1 pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. Each week features live music and kids activities. Don't miss it!
On the
2nd Friday
of each month from 6-9 p.m., the
Downtown Longmont Creative District
features extended retail business hours and activities (inside and outside), gallery openings, and restaurant promotions taking place throughout the district. On June 9th, the theme is "Remember It" and will feature the first downtown concert for the season, with headliner The Goonies. The "All High Schools Reunion" will bring together graduates from the St. Vrain Valley School District.
Come down to see what's new and join the excitement.
The Dickens Opera House will host the Prairie Playhouse production of
"Next to Normal" from June 19-25, 2017.
The three-time, Tony Award-winning musical and winner of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize is a breathtaking musical and gives an unflinching look at a suburban family struggling with the effects of mental illness. Both humorous and heartwarming; see why this musical has changed lives and impacted millions. Get your tickets here.
Longmont Pride will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 2-6 pm in downtown, on 4th Avenue, between Main and Emery Streets. This alcohol and tobacco-free event will include facepainting, a traveling photo bus and many family-friendly activities. For more information, click here.
