Groundwork Lawrence is moving, but not too far!

We are excited to announce that we are moving the Groundwork Lawrence office. We will be moving to 50 Island Street, Suite 101 on the ground floor, Entrance B, and we encourage visits from the public starting January 3, 2017.

The build-out is almost complete, but we still have a  wishlist of items we would love to have to  make our new space feel like home.

Green Team Corner: Bird Watching in Joppa Flats

On December 3rd, the Green Team went to Mass Audubon's  Joppa Flats in Newburyport to go bird watching. They researched local birds, how to help bird species in general, and plan on bringing their bird watching skills back to the community of Lawrence. During this trip, they had the pleasure of seeing a red-tailed hawk and many other birds.
End-of-Year Donations!

This year Groundwork Lawrence celebrated our 15th anniversary.  Thank you for being part of the Groundwork family. You help us to change places and change lives. Please enable us to continue our work in the community by making a gift.

Every gift, no matter the size, is appreciated and makes a difference. If you are able to make a contribution to Groundwork Lawrence of $1,000 or more, then you will receive a 50% refundable state tax credit through the  Community Investment Tax Credit Program.  Established by the Massachusetts Legislature with the goal of spurring more private donations to organizations doing community development work, the credit enables you to invest in Groundwork Lawrence while receiving a substantial tax benefit.

When shopping online, use this link    Smile.amazon.com , as Amazon will donate .05% of your purchase to GWL.  Thank you for your consideration and have a wonderful holiday season.
