OML is now accepting nominations for the Innovations Award.
The Innovations Award recognizes municipal officials and staff of OML member cities and towns for their superior innovative efforts. This award is dedicated to those involved with their local government are progressive, caring, and committed to their community.
Nominations are also being accepted for the Don Rider Award. The Don Rider Award was first established in 1988 recognizing outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to their community as well as their profession through personal growth and involvement.
The Mayors Council of Oklahoma (MCO) is accepting nominations for the Mayor of the Year award. The two Mayor of the Year award recipients are recognized for their continued dedication and vision for their individual communities. The awards are given to one municipality of 5,000 or more and one municipality of less than 5,000 in population.
These awards will be presented at the annual OML Conference in September. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, July 14, 2017.
